A Meher Center Tour for Bal Natu
In 2001, Marshall Hay, on behalf of the Meher Center, did a very intimate tour of the Center for a very unique purpose. This was a virtual tour especially for Bal Natu, one of Meher Baba’s Mandali who lived in Meherazad, India. Bal was one of the few Mandali members who had never been to the Center. By 2001 his health had declined significantly and it was clear that he would never come. This tour is a delightful visual treat for any onlooker, as Marshall directly addresses Bal with humor and respect, while taking him through the exquisite beauty of the Center, and fusing the experience with lesser known details of Baba’s visits.

Senior Closing
The senior sharing is a much-anticipated event at the Youth Sahavas. This sharing normally takes place every year in the Barn on the last night of Sahavas, where senior participants have a chance to share their heartfelt experience of being at the Sahavas. This video of Aria Irani’s story is a glimpse into that sharing from this year’s virtual closing.

“He walked all through the forests of the Center”
Meherjee Karkaria first met Meher Baba in 1927 at Meherabad and went on to become a close disciple who exemplified obedience. He was one of the Eastern men who accompanied Baba to the Meher Center in Myrtle Beach in 1952 and 1956. In this rare audio, Meherjee is back at the Center in 1970. He is heard walking around the Center reminiscing about his time with Baba, pointing to places Baba had been, and answering questions of a curious group about lesser known things that Baba said about the Center.

The Children’s Birthday Party
This rare home video of Meher Baba was taken at the Meher Center in 1958 when Baba held a “Birthday Party” for all the children (adults could only come when accompanied by a child). Baba is seen here cutting the cake and personally distributing different types of prasad. Baba plays the perfect host at the Center as He smiles, laughs and embraces His lovers while enjoying their company and providing them with an opportunity for His intimate darshan.

A Walk to the Barn & Beach
Many pilgrims experience Baba’s presence while walking the miles of trails woven throughout the Center. This video is a walk on the Yaupon Dunes Trail, amidst the sun-dappled poplars and oaks, with Carolina Wrens calling overhead. It weaves to the Barn where Baba held large gatherings, and then on to the Beach where He enjoyed the company of His lovers and dipped His feet into the Atlantic Ocean.
Meher Center Tour with Darwin Shaw and Daughters Leatrice and Renae
In this informal recording, Darwin Shaw, who was instrumental in the development of the Center, and his two daughters Leatrice and Renae, identify places that played a special role during Meher Baba’s visits in 1952, 1956 and 1958. They intersperse stories of their time with the Master as they show us the many spots around the Center where He gathered His lovers, and even the trees He rested under.
