“Baba is a life to be led”

A.K. Kasthuri learned about Meher Baba in 1930 in Madras when he was five years old. In this talk, he describes moments from his lifetime with the Master—his seven days at Baba’s 1955 Men’s Sahavas; how his connection with Baba influenced his choice of career; the moment at a train station when Baba first met his baby daughter; and other stories that have had deep meaning for him, his family, and the Madras Baba community.

“The underpinning of all the rest of my life”

In this video, Don Stevens, a close Western follower of Meher Baba, shares his experience right after Baba dropped His body in 1969. Through a series of remarkable occurrences in the twenty-four hours after he got the call, Don made it to Meherabad in a seemingly impossible amount of time, and was convinced for the rest of his life of Meher Baba’s continued love and presence.

“I knew I’d come home”

Virginia Sadowsky met Meher Baba for the first time in 1956, with her nine-year-old daughter holding one hand and an injured bird in a cage in the other. In her bright, humorous, self-deprecating way, Virginia goes on to describe her time with her Master, including intimate tales—funny, touching, and sometimes painful—of Baba’s final days on the Center in 1958.
